Global Dance

A fun, funky fusion of world dances. Bollywood,Reggaeton,Latin,African,Hip Hop,Belly Dance and Carribean dance. The energy and rhythms will set you free to self discovery and joy from within. Easy to learn fun inspired moves that will stir your soul and tone your body. Come give it a try and shake your groove thing!

 

Belly Dance

Each class begins with a warm-up, specific muscle isolations and control, belly dance conditioning  and strengthening  through yoga postures and exercises, correct posture and breathing. Basic class outline includes Belly Dance steps,drills, traveling steps, introduction to veil work, combinations and routines will be taught and reviewed each week. Costuming and belly dance history will be discussed. Focus is also on discovery of grace, the dance as the beautiful art form it is, teamwork and support, and of bringing out the joyful, natural belly dancer within all women. Stretching, yoga and gentle dance movements will restore and rejuvenate at the end of class.

 

  Fitness & Yoga Classes

Kick Box Beats

In this high energy class you will blast calories, get an amazing adrenaline rush,become empowered and have fun doing it. This class is a blend of powerful martial arts,boxing inspired moves,dance and athletic drills.Specific training moves to strengthen your core and reshape your whole body. Cooldown is done Capoeira style (Brazilian Martial Arts) and with Tai Chi moves to finnish the class feeling focused,energized and refreshed.Advanced athletic stretching rounds off this class.

Pilates, Yoga & Strength on the Ball

An effective,balanced blend of Pilates,Yoga and Strength. The stability ball works as a support and a balance challenge. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness. Pilates resistance bands and small balls are also used in this class.

Beginner Mat Pilates

This class is designed to teach and reinforce the fundamentals and beginning movements of Pilates. Recommended for those who have never taken Pilates, less experienced Pilates participants and those recovering from an injury.

Some facts about Pilates:

Pilates develops a strong "core" or center of the body. The core consists of the deep abdominal muscles, and the muscles closest to the spine. The exercises develop core control, integrating the trunk, pelvis and shoulder girdle.

Blissfull Evening Yoga 

Focus is on joyful breathing, yoga warm-up, guidance and awareness of how each asana feels to each individual with aims in building strength in body,mind and spirit.Yin yoga and theraputic yoga poses will also be practiced. Each class ends with a blissfull savasana (relaxation).
