Working with a Certified Personal Trainer has many effective and healthy benefits. Trainers can help you set small and long-term wellness and fitness goals in order to gain optimal fitness and health levels.

Equally important is the trainer’s knowledge and practice of the maintenance principle after a level of fitness has been achieved.

Personal training does not have to take place at a busy gym where there could be line-ups for equipment or distractions of all sorts. Optimal fitness can be achieved without working with weight machines and cardio equipment. For example, if you love working out in the great outdoors and need to lose weight a trainer could set up an effective walking program for weight loss. This could lead to a more progressive training program that would include more power-walking intervals, Nordic walking or jogging. Maybe a long-term goal would be to enter a marathon.

Training with free weights, resistant bands and weighted balls are a great way to strengthen muscles, tendon and ligament strength as well as bone strength.

Other means of achieving optimal fitness and health in a fun and effective way is using a Hula-hoop in which you can burn up to 200 calories in 10 minutes and have loads of fun. Stability ball cardio is also a fun and effective way to blast calories while keeping a smile on your face due to the fun factor.

 One of the more popular choices for fitness lately is anything involving dance, once again, this type of aerobics has a huge degree of effective fun and fitness. Easily blasting 500 calories in 45 minutes, dance benefits your mind, body and spirit. Dance also trains your body in many different effective ways.

The more training and certifications a trainer has the more they can offer and enhance a clients overall training and wellness.

Working with a trainer certified in Pilates will assist in building a strong core and breathe awareness. A trainer with a Yoga/Meditation certification may assist a client that needs to de-stress, connect with breath, as well as balance and heal their body, mind and spirit. Yoga can be very therapeutic for a client on the road to recovery and mobility due to an accident or life mishap. Guided meditation helps clients to connect with their breath, relax, heal and release stress.

Yoga training can also be very athletic and assist in important lengthening and strengthening of all the muscles. Regular practice of yoga also builds the immune system. 

Personal training is available at Bloomers Yoga and Fitness Studio one on one or group training up to four people for more cost savings to the clients.
